A cultural visit to Şahinburgaz by our director Prof. Dr. Zekai Mete

In the scope of activities of RACHCAS our director Prof. Dr. Zekai Mete and Assoc. Prof. Kurtuluş Demirkol, Asst. Prof. Cengiz Şeker, Asst. Prof. Fatih Sarıkaya and Departmant Head of Library Barış Yıldırım visited the village of Şahinburgaz which is close to Erdek. Entertained by the village headman Kadir Uğur, village Imam Nurullah Çetinkaya and civil engineer Tunç Ali Özdemir, the group is informed over the history, culture and crafts special to the village. Then Tunç Ali Özdemir gifted 500 books written in Hungairan to the library of our university.
