RACHCAS is planning to prepare a book about Gönen

Another research has began in RACHCAS for the history of Bandırma and its neighborhoods. Documents present in the city archive formed by our director Prof. Dr. Zekai Mete will be the basis of this research. Assistants of the History Department Kadir PURDE, Uğur BELEN and Safa Furkan KARACAKAYA will be preparing a book named " Gönen in the Ottoman Archives". RACHCAS continues its efforts to expand circle of researchs in history, culture and art where our university has campuses.
